Playa Pride

What is Playa Pride?

 Playa Pride  in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, will be held from 16 to 19 of June 2016 and is shaping up to be one of the biggest international events of our time and in our municipality. These seven days of celebration, the streets become filled with colorful parades and music, parks and entertainment sites tolerance, cinemas and galleries in learning sites and strangers into friends.

 

This will be an international celebration that incorporates activism, education, history and culture of the global LGBT community. Noting the continued progress of Mexico on human rights, Beach Pride also celebrates the diversity and dynamism of Playa del Carmen, one of the most visited by the national tourism destinations in the world.

 

Mission

Play Pride there to celebrate the history, courage, diversity and future of LGBT communities of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo and the World.

Mission Playa Pride 2015 is to maintain an international celebration that incorporates activism, education, history and culture of the global LGBT community. It will highlight the continued progress of Mexico on human rights, diversity and dynamism of Playa del Carmen.

 

 

Vision

Playa Pride Vision:

  • Maintain a non-profit organization committed to the volunteers and staff.
  • Create a safe space for involving communities in celebrating their sexuality.
  • Coordinate a series of cultural events, including the annual Pride celebration, which empower communities and support our arts and pre-eminent.

  • Capture and build on our organization and the history of our communities.
